MY RUVU SECONDARY SCHOOL

HISTORY:

Ruvu Girls High School formerly known as Ruvu secondary school is my Ordinary level school where I attended from 1987-1990 with The name of Irikael Isaka as a student.

The school is a government school established in 1977 as a boarding co-education secondary school and registered in 1978 with number S.157 and examination center number S.0369. In the 2005 the school was transformed into a boarding high school for girls only.

ACADEMIC:

The school offers both Arts and Science subjects in the following combinations.

1. History, Kiswahili, and English (HKL)
2. History, Geography and Kiswahili (HGK)
3. History, Geography and English (HGL)
4. Chemistry, Biology and Geography (CBG)
5. Chemistry, Biology and Agriculture (CBA)
6. Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB)
7. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM)

Practices of what we learn in the class was the most part valued by our teachers.

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:

AGRICULTURE:
The school was also teaching agriculture lesson which was practiced in our out of class activities giving u a lot of knowledge in agriculture which is the one of the most practiced economic activity in our country.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION

 

 Cleaning and conserving our environment was part of our duties and with the help and support of our teachers we succeeded to conserve our environment .
